Our Founder

Adam Reed is an emerging Liverpool designer whose work sits at the intersection of personal narrative, contemporary craftsmanship, and queer storytelling. Drawing on lived experience, chosen family, and the women who have shaped his understanding of identity, resilience, and kinship, Adam's practice is deeply personal yet subversively romantic.

Inspired by the trans and queer communities that have informed his creative journey, Adam explores a gothic sensibility through timeless silhouettes, corsetry, bespoke tailoring, and contemporary intervention. His garments function as both armour and comfort, where resilience reveals elegance, and becoming remains forever unfinished.

Education & Training

Adam studied Bespoke Tailoring at the University of the Arts London (UAL), where he developed a rigorous foundation in pattern cutting, construction, and the art of the made-to-measure garment. He went on to spend a formative year at Jimmy Choo, gaining invaluable insight into the world of luxury fashion, its standards, its craft, and its culture.

These experiences are woven into every piece Adam creates: the precision of bespoke construction meeting the ambition of luxury design.

Our Process

Every Adam Reed London garment is entirely unique. Each piece is individually hand-finished, meaning no two garments are ever exactly alike. From the initial cut to the final stitch, the making process is intentional and unhurried, a direct rejection of fast fashion and disposable design.

Working with donated, scrap, and upcycled fabrics, Adam embraces the inherent character of pre-existing materials. Asymmetry, texture, and deliberate imperfection are not flaws they are signatures. The result is a garment that carries history, intention, and a life of its own.

For My Dear Sister — SS26 Pre-Collection

Adam Reed's most personal collection to date, For My Dear Sister was unveiled at Bleur Gallery, London, on 16 June 2026. Dedicated to his sister Jocelyn Claire Reed, the twelve-look collection explores identity, resilience, and kinship through upcycled pillowcases, reclaimed textiles, and reconstructed fabrics elevating materials associated with domesticity through asymmetry, disruption, and deliberate imperfection.

For My Dear Sister was presented by Bleur, a London cultural space committed to championing emerging creative voices through interdisciplinary programming, positioned at the intersection of art, fashion, music, and design.
